In the continual evolution of movement and opening within your heart, there is an invitation for deepening. Offerings that guide to liberation and freedom of being.
One practice of inquiry that is powerful is to feel where your motivations are coming from, from the ego-mind (often fear based) or the wisdom of heart?
Motivation from the mind is full of high highs and low lows. Becoming an addiction to external measurement of how and who you are in the world. Causing further feelings of separation and exclusion. There is a sense of never complete or good enough. Lack haunts the soul, a thirst that is never quenched. Keeping in the always “doing” busyness creates no space for stillness, contemplation and integration.
The glitter and glamour of the ego-mind can be intoxicating, powerful even. A power that is never satisfied, looking only at the appeared weakness or appeared superiority of self or another. Relentless. Ever criticizing, judgmental, full of preferences and limited beliefs. Fear shape-shifts the mind trying to mimic the heart, yet this mimicking expression will in time bring self back to the beginning, the original movement that was being offered before the mind took over the opening.
Creating the space for paradigm shifts
“What’s my motivation from my mind or my heart?”
Charles MacGall
Begin to recognize the moments you are in your heart (truth) and the moments the ego-mind takes over. Remembering that the moment the ego-mind takes over is the moment a deeper movement is available. The mind in its natural protection is by-passing an emotion or movement from the pain body that is on the surface for transmitting/healing and coming back into alignment with self. Open-hearted truth.
Welcome the distinction of the switch from ego-mind to heart as it becomes clearer and clearer within you, for this recognition will support your integration and opening to your wholeness.
Spend time with practices of walking, writing, meditation and moving whichever emotions you are processing within the moment.
Moving From the Old Paradigm of Leadership (for those in service & those in life)
In leadership the leader from the ego-mind is held higher than the student – the student hands over all of self into the intoxicating glitter of ego-mind. Believing that another knows them more than they know themselves. Usually coming from a place of feeling broken or needing fixing. In this polarity of old paradigm the leader believes “they know best” and the other does require “fixing”. The teacher themselves can get wrapped up in the power of this dynamic and their own deep wounds can surface, where the shadow of the unhealed can taint and manipulate the relating. In time the student will out grow the relationship and in this is the opportunity for the leader to grow themselves or collapse back into the old paradigm. The possibility here is that in this relating both are being called to “deepen” and awaken into truth of heart. Reflecting to each other the pathways that are possible within humanity to grow and expand into. Both are serving each other onto a path of unwinding, healing, and becoming who they are outside of this old way of relating, returning back to self and wholeness.
Connecting to the New Paradigm of Leadership (with self and who we are in the world)
The heart knows there is no separation. It shines with glory in the light of another’s opening, growth, and light. In the heart there is no teacher / student hierarchy, rather bright and humble beings willing to learn from each other and shine light on the path so others may experience their own hearts too. Ones that hold the realms of the heart in integrity, sacredness and vulnerability. To reflect back to others the possibility of awakening and the call back to their own souls. Deep inner knowing is birthed and an invitation to really know self in this lifetime is felt. Wisdom and remembering awakened. This relating is a continued and natural evolution of remembering the depths and consciousness available to humanity.
Motivation that is pure of heart and grounded in love.
No one is more than any other soul on this planet.
We are all connected. We are all one.
